The Antiseptica chem.-pharm. Produkte GmbH was founded in 1976. The owner and general manager is Dr. Hans-Joachim Molitor. So the enterprise is privately owned and without a concern bond to date. The stock fund is € 660.000.-.

In January 2006 Ms. Michaela Hovsepian was appointed director, managing administration/marketing/sales. In February 2007 the medical-scientific department was relocated under the administration of Dr. U. Weber (Antiseptica Med. Wiss., Greifswald).

From the very beginning the focus lied on the scientifically founded product quality, documented by the current DGHM/CEN testing methods (01.09.2001/04.02.2002) and is up to date documented in the VAH list (01.01.2008) as well as in the register of expert opinions of the ÖGHMP. The cooperation with science expresses itself in addition in numerous sponsorships and cooperations with local and foreign scientific institutions (DGHM, DGKH, ÖGHMP, IFIC, CHICA, EURIDIKI, etc.).

The enterprise has always been strongly export-oriented, approx. 45 % of the turnover is generated abroad: meanwhile, Antiseptica products have proved themselves in 33 countries. 2001 the first subsidiary company, Antiseptica Austria, was founded. The enterprise and the production are certified according to ISO, CE and GMP.
